Silverbell Road, which runs north and south between the city of Tucson and the Tucson Mountains, is a designated scenic corridor despite the many wires that mar the view. Now the Tucson Electric Power Company (TEP) wants to install more wires on taller poles instead of burying them out of sight as the law may require. Also, if TEP gets its way the Silverbell Crossings Neighborhood will be sandwiched between even more high lines than it already is.
