Hundreds of saguaro cactus grow on the land southwest of Tula Lane and Picture Rocks Road near Tucson, Arizona. Many will be left in place if the land is developed, and many will have to moved. That might not be a problem for the smaller ones. However, although large saguaros are often transplanted it's well documented that they don't survive long.
