Ceiling Insulation and Drywall
Ready for Ceiling Isulation #1
Everything inside the house was on dollies so I could move it around. I covered it all with tarps because of the dust from the ceiling insulation.

Attaching Insulation Netting #1
The "netting" was a fiberglass scrim stapled to the rafters. It was needed to hold the blown cellulose insulation in the rafter bays (space between the rafters) prior to installing the ceiling drywall.

Blown Cellulose Hopper and Pump
Bales of compacted cellulose were loaded into the big hopper outside in the truck which had a powerful pump attached at the bottom to blow the cellulose through the large diameter hose which stretched into the house.
The day after the cellulose insulation was blown into the rafter bays above the netting the drywall was delivered (leaning against brown tarp). Blowing in the cellulose before installing the drywall insured that the entire space in each rafter bay could be filled with cellulose Otherwise there would be gaps where excess heat could enter in the summer or be lost in the winter. This is how it looked after I swept and vacuumed up all the insulation dust.
