I was working inside and happened to look out the window to see this. It was 2 in the afternoon, not the best time for landscape photography. But I grabbed my big lens, dashed up the ladder to the roof, and did about a dozen quick, hand-held images. The spring of 2015 was one of the best years ever for the number of palo verdes in bloom.
